Phi Delta Theta General Headquarters is a Certified Great Place to Work

Phi Delta Theta General Headquarters is proud to share that the organization has been re-Certified™ by Great Place To Work® in the United States for the second year in a row. The recognition is based on a survey given to current employees, with 95 percent of employees believing Phi Delta Theta is a great place to work, compared to the 57 percent average for other US companies. This number is also an increase from last year’s result of 90 percent.

“While we were proud to receive this recognition for the first time last year, we were even more honored to receive it again as we establish this designation as a Phi Delta Theta expectation and tradition. We recently celebrated our 175th birthday as a membership organization offering a transformational experience. Today, this distinction represents a relevant and modern workplace and culture that supports the hard work of the General Headquarters Team, perpetuating that experience as we go forward.” Sean Wagner, Executive Vice President and CEO, shared.

What is Great Place to Work Certification?

Great Place to Work Certification recognizes employers who create an outstanding employee experience. Certification is a two-step process that includes surveying your employees and completing a short questionnaire about your workforce. Because employee feedback and independent analysis determine the scores, Certification helps job seekers identify which companies genuinely offer a great company culture. Certification gives employers a recruiting advantage by providing a globally recognized and research-backed verification of great employee experience.

The Great Place to Work certification has recognized companies such as Target, Hilton, American Express, and Hulu. Phi Delta Theta is honored to rank alongside these companies.

About Phi Delta Theta General Headquarters

As a membership association, Phi Delta Theta Fraternity offers a lifelong value proposition that helps members become the greatest versions of themselves. This is upheld through a commitment to its Cardinal Principles: Friendship, Sound Learning, and Rectitude. With a service-oriented approach, it serves its 12,000 undergraduates and 190,000 alumni. This encompasses best-in-class leadership development programs, scholarships, alcohol-free facilities, and supporting Live Like Lou in honor of Lou Gehrig, aiding ALS-affected families and funding research. Guided by its strategic plan, Phi Delta Theta’s vision is to be recognized as the premier fraternal leadership development society by 2030.

More than 389 staff members have served the Phi Delta Theta General Headquarters over the past century. Each individual has contributed to the Fraternity’s mission, preserved its history, and propelled the organization forward with new opportunities. Today, the GHQ staff consists of thirty-seven individuals whose roles indicate the broad scope of duties the modern General Fraternity workforce performs. Together, it is their mission to provide the Fraternity’s members with a transformational experience in their pursuit of greatness.
