Brother Shafer is the president of Trumbull Enterprises, a holding company for multiple Primrose Schools.
Brad also continues to consult in the higher education development space. Brad spent nearly twenty-five years in higher education development and fundraising and held leadership roles beginning in 2003, culminating in 2020 as the vice president of advancement at the University of Louisville. He also has experience in development technology sales and hedge fund business development. He served six years in the United States Air Force Guard and was honorably discharged, achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant. Brother Shafer earned his BS (1994) and M.Ed. (1998) degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and his JD from Creighton University in 2003.
Brad pledged to Nebraska Alpha in 1989, initiated in 1990, and held several offices in the chapter. He was the first Nebraska Phi Delt in twenty-eight years to serve as an executive member of the UNL Interfraternity Council (1993). He was awarded the Gamma Gamma award, which recognizes the top one percent of Greek leaders at the culmination of that term.
Brother Shafer has served as the alumni coordinator on the Nebraska Alpha house corporation since 1995 and helped lead a capital campaign that raised over $1 million to renovate the chapter house and create scholarships.
