Rockwood Summit Girls Soccer coach and Missouri Zeta Phi Chris Kappler has been named the Missouri Girls Soccer Coach of the Year! He was chosen for his knowledge of the game, coaching philosophy, rapport with the team, respect of the players and conduct on the field.
Each year, the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) recognizes three coaches from each state – Large, Small and Private/Parochial. Each of those winners then are eligible for regional coach of the year, and if selected by the NSCAA are then up for the National Coach of the Year.
