Jeff Darlington (Florida ’04) is an award-winning journalist who joined ESPN in 2016 as a ESPN Personality for SportsCenter and NFL Countdown.
A native of South Florida, Darlington began his career in 2004 at the Orlando Sentinel beat-writing for the University of Florida football and basketball programs. From 2006-2011 he covered the Miami Dolphins for the Miami Herald; where he was featured on several national sports programs providing breaking NFL news.
Darlington joined NFL Network and NFL.com as a National Field Reporter in 2011. While at NFL Network he regularly covered the NFL’s biggest stories in-person from NFL stadiums and team facilities. He was the National Reporter that covered fellow Florida graduate Tim Tebow’s 2011 playoff run with the Denver Broncos.
Brother Darlington has been televised from all 31 NFL stadiums, has received several Associated Press Awards for breaking news, and held a cameo role alongside Kevin Costner in the film Draft Day.
