Phi Delta Theta Fraternity is happy to announce the installation of the Wisconsin Zeta Chapter at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Wisconsin Zeta was colonized on October 21, 2017, and the colony worked towards the goal of installation for many months by recruiting new members, establishing programs of operation, and improving their community through service and philanthropy. Their successful petition to the General Council of Phi Delta Theta led to their initiation and installation on the weekend of May 10-11, 2019.
On May 10, Wisconsin Zeta Colony members gathered on campus in order to be initiated into the Fraternity. Led by General Council Member-at-Large Nat Love, the ceremony was performed by Tyler Wilson (Colony Development Specialist), Kyle Brown (Senior Leadership Consultant), Justin Holmes (Senior Expansion Consultant), Adam Warriner (Iota North Province president), and local alumni.
On May 11, the colony members, local alumni, University Fraternity and Sorority Life Administrators, GHQ representatives, friends, and family gathered on the Whitewater campus for the Wisconsin Zeta installation ceremony. The ceremony was presided over by General Council Member-at-Large Nat Love. Speakers during the ceremony included friends of Phi Delt, members of the new chapter, and a special proclamation presentation to the father of colony member Elliot W. Spear, who passed into the Chapter Grand prior to the installation.
Earlier that day on May 11, the new brothers of the Wisconsin Zeta Chapter gathered for a ritual review with Tyler Wilson & Kyle Brown. At the gathering, ritual was reinforced, explained, and the colony was tasked with charting a path forward toward continued success.
The newly installed Wisconsin Zeta Chapter of Phi Delta Theta wishes to extend gratitude to everyone who played a part in their success and installation. They wish to extend a special thank you to Jan Bilgen (Associate Director of Career and Leadership Development), alumni volunteers, the FSL councils, and greater community at UW-Whitewater. The brothers look forward to continuing their already tremendous success for many years to come.
Congratulations to the Wisconsin Zeta Chapter at UW-Whitewater!
