Phi Delta Theta Returns to Emporia State University with Installation of Kansas Epsilon

Phi Delta Theta is proud to announce the re-installation of the Kansas Epsilon Chapter at Emporia State University.

On April 15, 2022, the Kansas Epsilon Emerging Chapter members were welcomed into the Fraternity by participating in the initiation ceremony led by General Council Reporter Nat Love, along with General Council Member-at-Large Todd Nisbett, and organized by Chapter Support Coordinator Mason Whitis, Director of Chapter Support Todd Simmons, former Nu Province President Kevin Pouch and current Nu Province President Anthony St. Clair. The ceremony was witnessed by over forty alumni, including chapter advisory board and housing corporation volunteers and undergraduate members from the Kansas Delta Chapter at Wichita State University, a fellow chapter within the Nu Province. In addition, the initiation ceremony was honored with Dr. Marc Johnson’s return, recently retired president of the University of Nevada, Reno. Brother Johnson was the undergraduate president in 1969 when the Kansas Epsilon charter was first installed at the university.

Friends, family, alumni, and Emporia State University officials gathered to celebrate as Kansas Epsilon accepted its charter during the installation ceremony. Anthony St. Clair and Chapter Advisory Board Chairman Jake Tannehill delivered powerful messages to the young brothers telling them to “never stop and never forget this experience.” Kansas Epsilon Chapter President Jayden Humphrey stated, “The weekend was an incredible experience that had been a long time in the making for Kansas Epsilon. I’m incredibly thankful for all the people who joined us this weekend to support us, and I am so proud of my brothers for putting in the hard work over the past year, especially. The installation has truly lit a fire under us that will continue to motivate this chapter for many years to come.”

The installation weekend was a significant event for Kansas Epsilon, not only for their installation as a chapter of Phi Delta Theta but also as a reunion of those who came before.

Congratulations to the Kansas Epsilon Chapter at Emporia State University!
