Phi Delta Theta welcomes Cassie Sherry as its new senior director of housing and facilities. Cassie will leave her role with Holmes Murphy Fraternal Practice where she supported their client base through educational initiatives to reduce risk and support their clients with complex claims. Cassie is the first person to serve in this role and brings with her a wealth of student and Greek housing experience and management.
“Cassie’s knowledge of fraternal housing and her experience in the Greek housing industry is a perfect combination to support Phi Delta Theta’s house corporations today and to serve our future aspirations to improve our housing stock,” said Phi Delta Theta Fraternity Executive Vice President and CEO Sean Wagner. Her know-how will ensure Phi Delta Theta offers appealing environments, state-of-the-art facilities, and professionally-trained and equipped advisers and volunteers.”
Prior to her time with Holmes Murphy, Cassie served her sorority, Alpha Delta Pi, as the director of housing for five years where she cultivated effective working relationships with their Grand Council, staff, strategic partners, and Alpha Delta Pi’s entire house corporation volunteer base.
“Having served Alpha Delta Pi for twenty-five years as a volunteer and staff member, my various roles and fraternal associations have provided me with extensive industry expertise that will further Phi Delta Theta’s housing initiatives,” said Sherry. I am thrilled to be joining the Phi Delta Theta family and look forward to supporting the housing goals as dictated by the Phi Delt 2030 strategic plan and the housing needs of Phi Delta Theta as a whole.”
Cassie graduated from the University of Vermont and lives in Connecticut with her husband, Dave, her son Nolan (18), and her daughter Laney (16). Cassie is a licensed insurance producer in the states of Connecticut and Nebraska.
