Elliott Hill

CEO of Nike

Elliott’s journey with Nike began in 1988, when he joined the company as an intern. Over the course of his 32-year career, he took on 19 different roles before retiring in 2020 as President – Consumer and Marketplace. In September 2024, it was announced that Elliott would be the next CEO of Nike, entering the next chapter as the world’s leading sportswear brand.

Elliott describes himself as “an experienced leader with a strong entrepreneurial drive, deep connections with consumers, and a strong passion for the portfolio of NIKE, Inc. brands and the world of sport.” These qualities have been the driving force behind his exceptional leadership at Nike. In his previous role as President – Consumer and Marketplace, Elliott led the business and marketing operations for the Nike brand, including the iconic Jordan Brand, across all four of Nike’s global geographies. Under his leadership, Nike grew to an impressive $39 billion in revenue, solidifying its place as an industry powerhouse.

Elliott’s success is rooted in his commitment to understanding the needs and desires of consumers, as well as his passion for the world of sport. Whether leading global teams or steering Nike’s strategic vision, he has always emphasized innovation, collaboration, and a consumer-first approach. As the new CEO, Elliott is poised to take Nike to even greater heights.

When he’s not driving the success of one of the largest brands in the world, Elliott is spending time with his wonderful wife, Gina, and their two amazing children, Peyton and Austin. An avid athlete himself, Elliott enjoys running, hiking, cycling, skiing, fly fishing, and playing on the baseball team he founded in Austin, the Austin Moontowers.
