As the Live Like Lou Foundation grows its reach and program impact, we seek a member of our staff team to drive philanthropic support and to develop meaningful relationships with individual donors, corporations, and community stakeholders. Reporting to the Live Like Lou Foundation executive director, this position plays an integral role in Live Like Lou’s 2025 strategic plan and in contributing to the attainment of annual goals.
The following is a summary of the complete job description.
Competencies and Responsibilities
- Portfolio Management— maintain a portfolio of fifty to seventy-five mid- and major-level donors and prospects; expand the prospect pipeline. Track and report meaningful donor contact activity in the database, Bloomerang.
- Stewardship—facilitate an organization-wide stewardship program focused on communications, recognition, reporting, and engagement.
- Development Communications—manage campaign platforms; synchronize appeal messaging across channels; serve as the primary point of contact for peer-to-peer philanthropy efforts.
Education, Experience, and Expectations
- Equivalent of a bachelor’s degree and at least five years of professional experience, including at least three years in development/fundraising-focused nonprofit work.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements
- This is a full-time position based remotely with opportunities to work from Phi Delta Theta’s General Headquarters in Oxford, Ohio.
- Must have the ability to initiate and manage distanced communications/events through Zoom.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer.
- Travel is expected monthly with occasional evening and weekend events.
