General Headquarters Update:  A Grateful Farewell to Jesse Moyer, as Dylan Berg Named Chief Operating Officer

[Oxford, Ohio] Jesse Moyer will conclude his service as senior vice president of member development and support for Phi Delta Theta General Headquarters (GHQ) through a transition effective April 25, 2025.

Starting in this role in 2020, Jesse led essential areas of Fraternity operations, including member development, housing, and chapter and volunteer support. During his tenure, key accomplishments include supporting chapters through COVID-19, leading the return and expansion of the Kleberg Emerging Leaders Institute post-pandemic, and playing a key role in founding North Hall Properties, the Fraternity’s international house corporation.

His role as senior vice president was his second stint at GHQ. He previously served as a leadership consultant and as the director of chapter services until 2008. During his years away from staff, he consistently served the Fraternity as a volunteer, including as Zeta Province President (Southwest Ohio) and Education Commissioner, before being elected to the General Council as member-at-large and reporter.

Before his GHQ return in 2020, Jesse held a leadership role at KnowledgeWorks, a national nonprofit focused on K–12 education. He will now returning to KnowledgeWorks as their new vice president of development.

Effective April 28, Dylan Berg will serve as chief operating officer for Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. In the role, and in a reorganization of staff, he leads Fraternity operations within chapter support, education, housing, communications, technology, alumni engagement, and events. Additionally, he oversees implementing and integrating Phi Delt 2030 strategy and tactics into organization-wide operations.

“We can’t thank Jesse enough for his service to Phi Delta Theta as senior vice president of membership development and support. He joined us at what we knew was a pivotal time in the organization in 2020 when we were transitioning strategic plans, campaigns and executives, but we didn’t know how vital his trusted relationships, experience, and perspective would be when the world shifted. We had to rethink the fraternity and then restore it to be even better than its prior state.  We are grateful for his many contributions that helped our GHQ team become what it is today.  His legacy is in the staff he empowered and mentored during his tenure, who will join Dylan Berg in supporting our chapters and volunteers in the pursuit of meeting their potential through Phi Delta Theta.  Dylan brings an innovative mindset and a deep understanding of the systems that assist and engage our members today. We’re looking forward to that integration  bringing energy, efficiency, and impact to the General Headquarters.”

Sean Wagner, Executive Vice President & CEO

For nearly a decade, Dylan’s career has led him to work across the Fraternity’s operations and gain valuable knowledge and experience. Dylan joined the staff in 2015 as a leadership consultant supporting new and emerging chapters.  Since 2018 he’s held the positions of director of chapter services, senior director of systems and analytics, and most recently, vice president of engagement and analytics.

As vice president of engagement and analytics, he was responsible for measuring and enhancing the impact of the Fraternity’s communication strategies, technology initiatives, and programming efforts to drive deeper engagement and member affinity. He has played a critical role in monitoring the effectiveness of Phi Delta Theta’s strategic plan, Phi Delt 2030, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of innovation within the fraternity landscape.

Dylan completed his undergraduate studies at the University of North Dakota in Entrepreneurship. He is a graduate of Section School’s AI Mini-MBA, IDEO U with a certificate in collaborative leadership, and is a Certified Salesforce Administrator, Braze Practitioner, and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
