Chris Panettiere listens to what clients need and helps tailor solutions so that their businesses can flourish. The new senior vice president of Employee Benefits joins Lockton, the world’s largest privately held, independent insurance broker and consultant, to offer his expertise to businesses looking to enhance their employee benefits programs.
“When I work with businesses I make sure to truly understand their goals and challenges. From there, we work together to structure a program that protects their most valuable asset, their employees,” said Panettiere. “After more than two decades of consulting, I have learned how to provide clarity in an otherwise complex territory.”
Prior to joining Lockton, Panettiere headed the Georgia Health and Benefits Practice for Willis Tower Watson. He was responsible for strategy development and execution, profits and losses, sales, retention, recruiting, mentoring and growing the employee benefits operation for the Savannah and Atlanta offices. He also worked with employers to evaluate and implement employee benefit plan management which included strategy and plan design, administration, communication and vendor management.

In his new role at Lockton, Panettiere will work with a national group of experts to help businesses solve their most pressing business challenges. He will use his expertise in health and welfare programs, HR strategy, plan design, administration, compensation and financial security programs to help businesses succeed. Panettiere has worked with organizations in the transportation, home improvement, financial services, consumer products textile industries and property management space.
Panettiere attended Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri where he received his Bachelor of Arts in business administration with an emphasis in marketing and Spanish. Additionally, he serves on the Board of Trustees of the college and is the current chairman of the Development Committee and vice chairman of the Marketing and College Relations Committee. He currently holds licenses in Life, Accident, and Health in all fifty states and has attained the designation of Professional, Academy for Healthcare Management (PAHM.).
