Brother Connor Campbell was sworn in as the President of the Creighton Students Union on Monday, December 5. Campbell, a junior in the College of Arts & Sciences from Sacramento, California, seeks to tackle issues of diversity, inclusion, and involvement as the President of the Student Union. The Creighton Students Union is Creighton University’s comprehensive student government representing over 8,400 students. Brother Campbell takes over this position from another Nebraska Gamma Phi, Kayman Nixon, who served for two years.
Phis have held this top-level position for the past seven consecutive years. This year’s election was very special due to a record amount of Creighton voters who helped to elect Campbell to the position. Connor has exemplified the Fraternity’s Cardinal Principles as a student leader at Creighton through his experience as a Welcome Week executive, a Campus Recreation Supervisor, and now as the President of the Student Union. Connor is excited to continue Phi Delt’s tradition of leadership on Creighton’s campus.
