The Phi Delta Theta Foundation is proud to welcome Katie Shipp to the General Headquarters team. Katie has previously served five years in advancement with special emphasis on alumni chapter development and management, undergraduate philanthropy, social media advancement marketing and communications, and Monmouth Connect (an alumni/undergraduate student engagement platform), as associate director of alumni relations at Monmouth College. Katie also served as the acting director of alumni engagement (alumni & annual fund) during the maternity leave of her supervisor twice during her career.
Katie was one of two key players who implemented the Monmouth College Day of Giving that raised over $200,000 in 18 hours and 53 minutes. In addition, she helped plan and execute the Science Symposium that focused on engaging and soliciting philanthropic support from alumni in the STEM fields. Having formerly worked with Steve Bloomer, Phi Delta Theta Foundation Senior Vice President of Advancement, at Monmouth, he knows her to be a critical thinker, multitasker, and results-oriented professional.
Katie has undergraduate degrees in the fields of business administration, economics, and Spanish from Monmouth College. As an undergraduate, she also served as president of the student body, a dormitory head resident, and an active member of Alpha Xi Delta.
