Kayman Nixon was elected as the Creighton Student Union President on Tuesday November 4th. Nixon, a sophomore in the Heider College of Business from Sacramento, California, hopes to bring a unique brand of enthusiasm, professionalism and fun to the student union. Since the formation of the Nebraska Gamma Chapter, there have been a number of CSU Presidents, including each of the past 5 presidents.
Alongside Nixon, fellow Nebraska Gamma Phi Zach Pierce was elected as Executive Vice President. Pierce, a sophomore in the Heider College of Business from San Diego, California, has a number of great ideas and a passion for the University which will greatly help the Student Union. The Executive Vice President position was introduced at Creighton three years ago, and a Phi has held the position each of these years.
This year’s election was very special due to the record amount of voters who helped to elect Nixon and Pierce. These men have exemplified the Fraternity’s Cardinal Principles at Creighton and are excited to continue Phi Delt’s tradition of leadership on Creighton’s campus.
