Phi Delta Theta Fraternity is excited to announce the installation of the New Jersey Delta Chapter at Stockton University. It all started with a small group of men interested in bringing a values-based organization to campus. This group came together and formed into a colony on March 30, 2018, and immediately recruited outstanding new members, satisfied the requirements to charter, and set their goals on permanent success. These accomplishments culminated with their installation weekend on March 22-23, 2019.
On March 22, New Jersey Delta Colony members gathered at a local worship center in Galloway, New Jersey for their initiation ceremony. Led by General Council Member-at-Large Nat Love, the ceremony was performed by Tyler Wilson (Colony Development Specialist), Alex Atkinson (Director of Expansion), and a host of local alumni and undergraduate members from surrounding chapters.
On March 23, the colony members, Phi Delt alumni, Stockton University administrators, GHQ representatives, friends, and family gathered at on Stockton’s campus for their installation ceremony. Presided over by Nat Love, Colony President Drew Broesler was presented with the charter and ceremonial gavel for the new chapter.
On March 24, the new brothers of the New Jersey Delta Chapter gathered for a ritual review with Tyler Wilson, Nick Brennan (Senior Leadership Consultant), and Alex Atkinson (Director of Expansion). At the gathering, ritual was reinforced, and the chapter was challenged to apply for the awards and other recognition for their accomplishments.
The newly instated New Jersey Delta Chapter of Phi Delta Theta wishes to extend gratitude to the local worship center and Stockton University for giving them the opportunity to use their facilities, the representatives of other chapters, GHQ representatives, and Province President Fred Reimer for ensuring that the weekend was a success and a solid starting point for their future as a chapter of Phi Delta Theta.
Congratulations to the New Jersey Delta Chapter at Stockton University!
