In August 2022, Cassie Sherry joined Phi Delta Theta as their new senior director of housing and facilities. Cassie previously worked with Holmes Murphy Fraternal Practice, where she supported their client base through educational initiatives to reduce risk and supported their clients with complex claims.
Before her time with Holmes Murphy, Cassie served her sorority, Alpha Delta Pi, as the director of housing for five years. During her time, she cultivated effective working relationships with their Grand Council, staff, strategic partners, and Alpha Delta Pi’s entire house corporation volunteer base. Having served Alpha Delta Pi for twenty-five years as a volunteer and staff member, her various roles and fraternal associations have provided her with extensive industry expertise that will further Phi Delta Theta’s housing initiatives.
Cassie graduated from the University of Vermont and currently lives in Connecticut with her family. She is thrilled to be a part of the Phi Delta Theta family and looks forward to supporting the housing goals as dictated by the Phi Delt 2030 strategic plan and the housing needs of Phi Delta Theta as a whole.
A piece of advice
“Find your passion, even if you think it’s silly. You may not think that your passion relates to being a champion, but doing what you love, and supporting what you love provides you and others with happiness. There is a lot of power that comes from passion, and if that passion translates to happiness, we all win.”
