Mark A. Brueggeman, Cincinnati ’81, founded PERIN Resources, LLC in 2004 to create a petrochemical marketing and distribution company that would source materials for both producers and consumers. Using his then eighteen years of chemical industry experience and contacts, Mark has built a business with over a dozen sales staff and $100 million in annual gross revenue. Mark’s chemical industry training started at Chemcentral Corporation, where he served as a Technical Sales Representative for six years. Brother Brueggeman then moved to Chevron Chemical Company, where he spent twelve years moving through the Aromatic and Derivatives, Styrenic Polymers, and Light Olefins divisions in various Sales and Marking assignments.
Before starting PERIN, Mark co-founded an investment company, GKMB Investments, Inc., which reorganized an injection and blow molding company in Round Rock, TX, and moved it to Maxwell, TX. The operating company was subsequently sold, and GKMB retained the real estate assets and continues today through various investments with Mark as the Managing Partner. In 2015, Mark and his wife, Elizabeth, purchased Hawkeye Hunting Club in Center, TX, and operate this upland bird hunting resort and conference center marketing to businesses, families, and friend groups for hunting trips, vacations, reunions, and other various group outings.
Mark graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Economics and Marketing. Mark has been married to his wife, Elizabeth, since 1986. Together, they have three grown sons. Mark enjoys hunting, clay shooting, fishing, and travel in his free time.
