Rob was elected the Chairman of the Canadian Foundation in October 2013 following several years on the board as a Director and Chair of the Fund Raising Committee. Rob is a 1985 graduate of Dalhousie University in Halifax and was initiated at Nova Scotia Alpha before doing Master’s work at McGill where he affiliated with the Quebec Alpha Chapter.
His Fraternity experience includes being hired by the General Fraternity in 1986 for a two-year term as a chapter consultant where he visited over 100 chapters throughout North America, including every Canadian chapter. He has also been a province president, chapter adviser, house corporation member, survey commissioner, and alumni club president.
At the Fraternity’s 2016 General Convention in Savannah, Georgia, Rob was awarded the Legion of Merit by the General Council. This award honors those outstanding members of Phi Delta Theta who have made a lifelong commitment to the service of Phi Delta Theta. Since being established in 1978, the Legion of Merit has been conferred to less than fifty alumni.
Rob has been a business development manager with the Port of Halifax since 2004.
