Phi Delta Theta is excited to announce the role transition of current Director of Chapter Support Todd Simmons. Starting May 1, Todd will begin serving as the director of member success. The transition will help improve the member experience and the success of the Fraternity’s members through initiatives proposed within the Phi Delt 2030 strategic plan.
Todd has worked at General Headquarters since 2019, currently as the director of chapter support and formerly as the chapter services coordinator. In these roles, he led the Fraternity’s accountability efforts, was able to reimagine Phi Delta Theta’s direct support staff model and strategies, and pushed forward the continued development of the Fraternity’s awards and recognition program structure.
As the director of member success, Todd will execute Phi Delt 2030 support strategies to further enhance retention and personal growth efforts among undergraduate members and staff. This includes the areas of the Fraternity’s Phikeia education program, first-year experience, chapter accreditation program, and communication efforts on behalf of the membership development and support team.
“I am excited to be able to help improve the first-year experience for Phi Delta Theta,” said Todd. “By building upon the opportunities our members have inside and outside of the classroom, we will be able continue to maximize our membership experience.”
Originally from Akron, Ohio, Todd is a member of the Ohio Epsilon Chapter and a 2017 graduate of The University of Akron where he earned his bachelor of arts in public relations. He holds a master of education in college student personnel from Ohio University, where he advised the Student Senate, worked with the Multicultural Greek Council, and served as Ohio Gamma’s recruitment adviser.
