General Officers Conference
Volunteerism is at the heart of Phi Delta Theta, and the Fraternity’s general officers play a large role in the organization’s success. Each year, Phi Delta Theta’s general officers gather at the General Officers Conference (GOC) to discuss the health and well-being of the Fraternity. The 2024 conference included a House Corporation Summit (HCS).

The 2024 General Officers Conference and House Corporation Summit took place February 23 – 24 at the Sheraton Oklahoma City Downtown Hotel in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The program provided a tremendous educational experience that enabled Fraternity general officers to better serve our students, alumni volunteers, and the strategic goals of the Fraternity.

Travel
Date and location of the next GOC has not yet been announced.
Lodging
All general officers will share a room and be assigned a roommate. A request for a roommate or a single can be made during the registration process.
Attire
Business casual clothing (khakis, polo-style shirts) for the general sessions and free time is acceptable.
House Corporation Summit
The House Corporation Summit, sponsored by North Hall Properties will be held in in conjunction with the General Officers Conference at the Sheraton Oklahoma City Downtown Hotel from February 23-24. The Housing and Facilities team is pleased to share a fantastic lineup of subject matter experts who will present during the educational sessions over a day and a half of the summit. All house corporations are encouraged to attend and subject matter experts include:
- CSL Management – Best Practices in Property Management
- Favor & Company – Best Practices in Risk Management
- Upper Crust Food Service – Does Our Kitchen Cash Flow and Food Trends and Gen Z
- Pennington & Company – Alumni Relations
North Hall Properties Staff and volunteers will be present to support conversation and vision of North Hall Properties.
In order to support the unexpected cost of attendance at the conference, the Walter B. Palmer Foundation is willing to reimburse each house corporation for the travel (plane, train or automobile) to Oklahoma City. Please purchase your ticket and send an email with the following to Sandy Cox:
- Name to whom the reimbursement should go to
- Address of where reimbursement should be sent
- Amount of reimbursement
- Receipt of purchase
What does each house corporation need to know about the schedule?
Plan to arrive mid-afternoon on Friday, February 23, 2024, to settle in. The Opening Session will begin at 5:00 p.m. Immediately following the session, we will be attending an Oklahoma City Thunder basketball game where they will take on the Washington Wizards. The game begins at 7:00 p.m. (CST). Tickets will include a cash amount to be used for food and a drink. Your registration will ensure we order the correct amount of tickets to the game.
