Missouri Alpha Phi Steve Tarpley is the National Sales Manager at WGN Radio 720AM in Chicago. Steve’s role focuses on developing marketing solutions for local and national business through WGN’s cross-media distribution channels, including Chicago Blackhawks play-by-play and, until recently, the Chicago Cubs. After spending half a decade as an Account Executive at WGN, Steve expanded his responsibilities to the national side of the business where he deals with businesses and ad agencies across the country to develop unique client opportunities. Steve is responsible for over $4 million dollars in billing annually and has a proven track record of increasing sales year-to-year. Despite moving to Chicago over seven years ago, Steve stays loyal to his Missouri roots and sports teams; Cardinals, Blues and Missouri Football & Basketball.

Steve graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a Bachelor’s Degree in Strategic Communications (School of Journalism) and a minor in Business.
